He may have the baby face but he doesn’t have the hair.

  2. Rishabh says:

Ritz-rolled. This should be a thing.

  3. Sunny says:

hauritz, your bowling is such shit,
that batsmen on debut make you their bitch.
your captain wants you to bowl like that obnoxious weed,
but selectors still think you are richie ritz.

  4. Govind Raj says:

Hauritz is not Warne or Murali. But he at least bowls with one of the cleanest actions. He had an ordinary series against the best batting line in the world today and that isn’t a great blot.

You just can’t call his bowling shit. He is much better than what Indian batsmen made him appear like. But then, except for Murali and Sri Lanka and all spinners except left arm tweakers have done badly against India. Just look at Murali’s record against India in India and Warne’s record everywhere against India.

You can then place Hauritz in the right perspective. I rate him better than Bhajji, though Swann is better on current form.

@govind – you have to take my little stanza as humor. its mostly right though!

hauritz’s selection has been a mystery to me. if krezja had not twisted his ankle in adelaide, hauritz (who wasn’t even good enough to be in the nsw XI that week) would not be in the team. even after a few series, hauritz has not shown any signs of improvement which makes krejza’s non-selection even more mysterious. punter wants an attacking spinner but hauritz keeps getting selected.

and please let’s not try to rate bhajji. you actually have to be able to spin the ball.

  6. Pete says:

Bhaji can use his sheer force of personality to get a wicket or two, Hauritz will never do that

  7. Matt says:

J rod i reckon that’s the most savage review on record, barring the turf in an envelope type

Sunny, krezja is the emperors new clothes

  8. Matt says:

Or turd in envelope if you prefer

  9. Sunny says:

@jrod – i think you should do the next profile a joint one for hussey + north. especially since they scored a combined 10 runs in the shield match against redbacks.

  10. raghu says:

@sunny – You dont get 350 wickets for nothing

  11. Chris Newell says:

Hauritz not being as good as Swan is nothing to do with current form. It’s got more to do with Swan being a good spinner and hauritz being a bang average spinner.

Hauritz might not exactly be shit but he’s certainly not good.

  12. BenSix says:

Hauritz brings a lot to a side. For example, you’ll never have to worry about replacing smashed stump microphones.
