Perhaps it’s because he plays so much cricket at home; perhaps it’s because his captaincy shows that being able to talk a good game doesn’t equal actual leadership intelligence; perhaps it’s the fact that he is just too damn good looking and cultured in appearance; perhaps it’s the fact that he scores so many runs against India… but the man has always seemed highly overrated to me.
