Recently I was contacted to do a new column for the website cricdude.
It will be a wednesday thing, I won’t link to them every week here.
It is my first real non comedy type deal.
But you should go check it out, I think of it as Bill Simmons meets Keith Stackpole with a dash of Alan Alda.
The column is called Hooking & Pulling, and if you all rush over there they might keep paying me.
I’ve written about finger spin and left arm quicks so far.

Non-comedy? Oh maybe it just makes me giggle because I’m retarded.
.-= Wes´s last blog ..••• The Legsmith heads North =-.
Wes & Kristian, I meant non comedy in the broader sense, I’ll still slip some lines in there.
Peg, I heard that Neville Cardus very rarely watched the cricket, and usually had his back facing it. That is a career path I’d like.
Off topic dude but did you see Nannes bowling today? Laughed off a beamer he bowled at Pollard without even an apology! Almost made me hate him but then I saw Sehwags reaction and forgot about the whole incident
He says “non-comedy”, and then he drops the line about the Wasim’s ball picking up flight attendants. That’s gold!
Good piece, crap site.
the finger spin article is worthy of mention. jrod the peoples cardus.
i liked the articles.. but I am a bit baffled as to what the purpose of CricDude is? is it just a cricinfo knockoff, or does it bring something new to the table? I visited the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Help page seeking answers, only to find it empty. I can only assume that means the other visitors to the site are less curious than I am..
Geoff, If i knew, I’d tell you.
