Sarah, I agree, I've barged in on both Yardley and Wright dining in restaurants, at different times when they were coaches, and both were very cordial. On the other hand I found the Indian players very shy, and so, appearing aloof.

@jogesh99 - Ah! A misunderstanding.

@Sarah - By and large, cricketers are polite in their interactions with the public. I've met a lot of the Saffers, they were all very nice guys - Smith and Nel included. W.r.t the post, Watson with all his tantrums makes for good TV, but you always catch yourself hoping that someone puts the bully in his place...

I was at a charity night during the Ashes hosted by Ponting and my friends and I met Watson and chatted to him. He was extremely friendly and utterly charming, as was his girlfriend, and we all liked them both enormously. I'm sorry he's not English and in our team.

I love to hate Twatson. He is an exceptional cricketer but, thankfu;ly, he appears to be a real dickhead too. If he was a good sort as well as being the cricketer he is - it'd be difficult to stomach.

I first saw what a knob he is through his bowling. He would get a number 10 or 11 out caught on the boundary - and jump around like he'd done something good. Idiot. Then, in India a couple of years back, he gave Gambhir a send off after after he had reamed Twatson et al for over 200 runs - including bringing up his ton by charging and smashing him for 6 over mid-on. Cocksmoker!
