He bowled pretty well didn’t he? He seemed to be trying a few more things to me. Tossing it up a bit more, trying to rip it a bit more, and even trying to spin it the other way. Like yourself I was hoping he wouldn’t get 5, but I think he deserved the result. He is a pretty honest cricketer, not bad in the field, going ok with the bat, and ok with the ball. He clearly has very little confidence in himself, but his overall record is quite good. He is an interesting case. Pakistan were awful today though, not really Test standard.
As commented before, the guys you sit on come right back to sit on on you. I think you can make a separate section on CWB just for blokes who owe their careers to you.

Funny, in my world the signs of a coming apocalypse involve Swann getting wickets. Which he is, like Ritzy. So I guess we are all finished after all.

Swann is far better bowler than Hauritz. Swann spins the ball. Harris spin the ball but go straight. Always. if he do not spin the ball , ball still go straight.
I think world is upside down suddenly with watson century , hauritz taking wicket , england suddenly look like best team , Will DDCA admit their mistakes and resign? to complete the cycle?.
Oh, i missed out Flat pitches in India and Stuart Broad in that list. They both had something to say as well.

Disregard the result as Pakistan came out on top monetarily in this game. They had $20K on Watson making a century at 9 to 1, and $15K on Hauritz taking a five for at 20 to 1. Everyone is a winner
Steve Smith is dropped for SCG, thank god. On a spinning wicket we don’t want half-trackers from the full-timers, we’ll get enough of those from North and Katich.
