Says Stuart Broad.
I am sure he wasn’t rude.
But he did show dissent.
Whether he was talking about which review rule South Africa bent, he did go up to the umpire after he was given out to complain about something.
Sulieman Benn would get imprisoned for such dissent. Probably killed.
I’ve often thought that dissent was a pissy little crime, especially when a batsman is given out incorrectly. What sort of human doesn’t show dissent in such a situation?
But Broad was plumb, dodgy long review or not, and while you could understand why he was pissed, he must have known that once the decision was reviewed he was going to be given out, so why not have the conversation with the square leg umpire while the review is being reviewed.
Why wait until you are out?
Nasser keeps harping on about how smart he is, some guy in this book calls him the mad scientist of modern seam bowlers, and yet he waits until he is given out and then makes what some could describe as an “ugly” scene out on the field.
Surely it isn’t ok to start discussing the small print of cricket laws when you are supposedly walking off.
To the surprise of everyone, Stuart Broad has not been charged with any offence yet.
Perhaps in that large invisible chameleon document, the spirit of cricket, it is ok to to stay on the ground and talk about the legality of one’s dismissal, if you do it nicely.
Like in all situations in life I go back to one simple mantra, What Would Chris Board Do?
What Would Chris Board Do?
Kill everyone involved, with barbedwire
Stuart broad is fine. But he thinks he is einstein level clever. :)
This little toffee-nosed twerp will never get booked for anything.

Barbie threw a wobbly? Never.
Surely Stuart Broad can do whatever he wants, because he’s The New Flintoff and he Won The Ashes?
You want Suleiman Benn freed and Stuart Broad penalized… even Sunil ‘sixty year old’ Gavaskar doesn’t go that crazy… but then you have the balls..

He is Chris Broad’s son. nothing will happen to him. And again, England and Aussies are above everyone and they don’t get penalized that easily. See yourself what happed to Benn and how Watson escape untouched in the ongoing third test against WI.
Butjazz appears to have no balls.
Sunil Gavasker doesn’t go as crazy as Aussies do in general, and gets shot and killed in unnecessory Bar fights.. You’re right with that observation, I just elaborated a bit
Who is surprised? I will be surprised if Stuart Broad ever gets penalised for anything. For that matter, i will be surprised if Watson or his team mates get banned for killing an Asian or West Indian player on the field, especially when Chris Broad is referee, who would say “I am deeply disappointed by Shane. I am sure he understands he was near the fine line between homicide and angry shove and hope that in the future, he stops with injuring the opposition player – not killing him”.
@jrod – you do know that the best ever player-umpire dissent involved GOD and billy?!
virender’s exact words for the howler was, “have the rules for LBW changed?”
@Sunny – Ah Sehwag!!
I heard one anecdote about a bowler once checking an umpire’s glasses (the bowler was a qualified eye doctor) when he was denied a wicket. Wonder what that would have earned him in this age?
ICC is sucking the emotion out of the game.
Chris Broad would give Barbie a lolly and tell him to play nicely. He’d have everyone else whipped with mouldy banana skins.
Except Suley – he’d have him imprisoned and tortured.

It’s getting boring. Honestly, I thought Watson’s send off of Gayle was worse than anything Benn, Haddin or Johnson did. It was the small-mindedness of it that was so poor.
Broadie will never get booked no matter what he does. It’s like watching his dad in the 80′s. He was full of himself as well.
