If you want a nice quiet cricket with balls week, I apologise.
As this is the week my book comes out.
So I shall be pimping it like it is a 2020 competition.
To start with, and this is a gentle ease in, we have a facebook group for the book.
So if you love the facebook, join the group.
See, that wasn’t so bad.

General comment. I was looking forward to reading your opinion about the T20 cricket farce between Ind and SL. What happened? You seemed to have missed it!
Bhard, I find it hard to talk about two match 2020 series, and by hard I mean I just don’t care. I think I ignore the SA v Eng one as well.
five ways jrod can promote his book modi ishstyle:
1. launch the book about an english victory against all odds in australia
2. award a purple cap to the avid reader who finds the most spelling errors
3. bring natalie along for book signings and other media events
4. get brad hodge aka ‘the ego’ to start a fake blog bitching abt being overlooked as a guest writer, editor, subject, and the ashes standby squad
5. ban pakistanis from reading his book
Sunny, the problem with them is that they are better than what I had. I might be able to convince IOB to dress in Natalie’s costume from Star Wars to come to media events with me.
Sheesh! You seem to be pitching this book with the same fervor as the DLF maximum announcers! Almost makes me want to buy it.
DC, well I keep waiting for the two page spread in the Guardian, but it never seems to come.
Bu the book people. :) Man is starving. i may buy if i am in mood. who knows. where is it selling in toronto?.
I think jrod need first page ad in cricinfo.
Alex, surprisingly few Toronto book stores came forward to sell the book.

gboy, only 10 grand?
@jrod – i don’t know man…IOB in drag has a lot to live up to compared to shah rukh khan. btw “pimping modi style” requires multiple minions…you working on that?
or is that us readers who hang on to every word written by you?! ;)
Sunny, I was hoping all you guys would walk around town with sandwich boards on.
