Beards tend to make men look older, especially as they often have grey patches (or even random, inexplicable ginger* bits) and they are, ahem, very often uncomfortably itchy during romantic moments… Plus I had my heart broken badly by an ex boyfriend with a beard. Not that I’m bitter!!

* Just to confirm, I have nothing against ginger haired people!
