Australia

Found out that Siddle is a good batsman, watched Kp bat like a dick, waited for Strauss.

England

Pushed on for a draw with furious gusto till someone pointed out they were in front and should try and win. Then they did well.

Will England win

They should. But that isn’t the whole answer. Australia has two days to bat on a wicket so good I’d take it home to meet my mother. England will have to manufacture wickets or hope the Australian batsmen fall apart again.

Play of the day

When Nathan Hauritz got hit in the finger again.  His finger is clearly trying to tell him something. “Nathan, you are an asshole, and we don’t want to bowl spin, we want to fly kites”.

Testicular moment of the day

Matt Prior for being the first English batsman who realised that England were trying to win the match not bat out time. His innings was superb, and it reinvigorated England to such a point that they could have almost declared last night without the light being a factor.

Working class moment

While Mitchell was being shit, someone had to step up, and Ben Hilfenhaus bowled an 11 over spell for something like 17 runs. It was tight, long, and mostly fruitless.

Still shitting on Hauritz, I see, Jrod. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up taking a 5-fer

As for your Diddle, if that’s your idea of “good batsman”, no wonder you lost to the Village Cricketer. All I saw was Sozzle randomly waving his bat in the air – sometimes it deliberately connected. Mostly not.

Steve, I was pissed, I think I meant proper number 10, compared to his 3 ducks in a row. And I can’t stop bagging Hauritz, it might jinx him, i stopped bagging mitchell johnson, and look what that did.

  2. Steve says:

    Fair enough. Keep bagging.
