The only mistake I made was Symonds out, McDonald in.

I don’t see a reason how McDonald can be preferred over Roy.
Must be disappointing that McDonald was included although clearly not test standard. They must like what he does with burgers, coke and fries as twelfth man. They have sensibly limited the Victorians to two, no space for Hodge nor the best spinner in the country.Have included Shane Watson for his ability to bat at any spot (test average below 20) and fast bowling (more fragile than Flintoff after a night out).
