They do if you only managed 17 matches in that time, and took them at 22 runs per. Add another 150+ ODI wickets at <20 and yes, you do have a world-class bowler. A permanently knacked one, but there you go. Lamborghinis break down every 10 yards or so, they’re still ace.

well if he’s a world class fast bowler, why don’t nzc pay him accordingly? pay him so he doesn’t have to make a choice between test cricket and a bit of hit and giggle in third rate domestic competition in india?

but here is the kicker. 79 wickets in 8 years of test cricket doesn’t make you a world class bowler.

Well, I am not tone cussing around. I have been forceful with my arguments but thats it. People cannot refute logic, resort to cussing, so whats my fault there? Have I personally attacked anyone like others have done to me? No. I have merely put my opinion across. Maybe forecfully but I have done nothing more. If you can, refute that logically. If not, resort to cusses. That is your choice but know that I have never knowingly resorted to mere cussing like many have done against me. So, first personally attacking me tastelessly and even if I respond civilly, branding me the same as your uncivil behaviour – thats rather cynical and stupid. Basically, around here, I have been the Aussie Cricketer and the others have been clueless subcontinental cricketers who dont know how to respond within the borderline of the rules and therefore claim that one is spotless, and end up physically abusing or hurting the Aussie cricketer and getting banned or punished :-)
By your own sledging is fair logic but reacting violently to sledging is unfair, I am fair and you guys have been obnoxious :-)

And btw – i don’t think eng and Aus lost any frontline players to the ICL… so why would they blame Lalit? Mainly pak, NZ and Bangladesh? affected. With all due respect to Franklin, he doesn’t instil the fear opening the attack like Bond would.

Lalit will still be disliked, not only for the reasons Suave pointed out, but because he’s still the big swinging dick of cricket.

I think Modi has been smart to cash in just when ICL has been going through a financial crunch and has been looking to release players from their contract. knowing very well that the bans could not have been legally sustained, he made a virtue out of a necessity. Love the way he calls it ‘Amnesty’

Chinaman, IPL2 has surpassed whatever meager expectations people had. The stands may not be full but I think I am surprised people are even turning up on weekday afternoons. But the spirit has been fantastic during the weekend games, specially a Port Elizabeth (The band and football-style singing was awesome). Hats off to the South Africans – They love their sport (or at least their beer)
