I just finished this post, and then heard Freddie had been sent home because of a dodgy knee.
Bastards, well I’m posting it anyway.

No one is getting paid more money than Freddie, and very few are doing less on the field.
His IPL is looking decidedly ordinary.
2 of the worst 3 bowling performances.
His strike rate of 116 is pitiful, and everytime I have seen him bat he has scored more than a few runs to the third man boundary.
He is failing.
It can’t be easy being the top money earner, but at the moment he is playing like 200,000 grand might have been too much.
He is the biggest bust in the IPL by so much even Jacques Kallis is feeling comfortable.
Should we have seen this coming?
I had him as my model for Chennai, reasoning that he was injured and only in town for a limited time.

When Freddie played for the world XI he was shit, he had no interest in representing the world.
He loves playing for England and Lancashire.
He strikes me as someone who needs to love the badge on his chest, not sure the Chennai Lion would have that appeal to him.

being a professional means you show up and get counted. twats like freddie and steyn are quite happy to enjoy the riches but not keen on putting up the effort. and the likes of kamran khan are willing to die for the sheik. less money + more heart = pure awesome! look at the royals..they look fun. not the miserable sods in chennai and bangalore.

That player has a seriously dodgy ankle.
Logic says, if took 4 operations to get it going, it was no simple case of a sprain. For a fast bowler who has to land the foot on the pitch hard it cannot be good news.
I believe he had to change his action/position to ease pressure on his ankle – resulting in injuries away from the ankle. We have seen him do his back, side, hip and now his knee.
It almost confirms how I see his problems.
The point being – by trying to protect his ankle – he ihas become susceptable to other muscle and joint injuries. He has to accept he will have injury lay offs and will not be able to play every match he wishes.
He has to decide which matches are his priority and try and keep himself injury free for those matches..
More importantly whether cricket or money is his priority.
Chinaman, I agree, and would like to add that he is made of Jelly beans.
Problem with white elephants like Flintoff is that he has to be picked considering his salary size. With Flintoff gone, Dhoni has an option to picking another overseas player which will balance the side.
That being said, with Pieterson gone in a few days, Boucher can come in and we can say goodbye to that cuntox Utthappa.

Pieterson captaincy is a bust. His batting is a bust in 20/20. He is better Test player/ODI player. He may even play well if he is not a captain. It just shows you that he can’t multitask like dhoni.Pressure gets to him.
I used to think Afridi is pure slogger.Y. Pathan is 1 up on afridi because pathan plays well his team wins.
I still do not know the reason behind GOD’s strategy of not including Mcgrath. Only reason i think is he wants to test other players first before going with mcgrath in full flow last few matches towards final. I think David warner may play next game.
i do not think midgets like parthiv patel , karthik should not play 20/20. his max energy shot won’t even go over the cover fielder. Need solid replacement for dhoni.
Bangalore will finish last this season followed by calcutta and punjab. Deccan is ok until crucial matches that is when RP singh will lead 4s and sixers.
Only Warne usings skills of other players to full strength. Warne comes on when he wants to choke the run flow. He is not afraid of gayle or anyone. Dhoni is excellant on field capatain ever.
