Were Pakistan ‘realistically’ preparing for the tournament?
Has there been articles in the press about how great it would be to play cricket in Pakistan at the moment?
No, ofcourse not.
How many months did they sit on this decision for?
Surely it was made before any bullets were taken from Samaraweera’s hip.

You are kidding me. I just booked a tour which includes games in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Multan, Lahore and Faisalbad. Are you saying that I might not see these games? Strangely I cannot get any information on this from the ICC website. I am, not sure what is more confusing – Pakistan being kicked off the WC or the ICC website devoted to promoting a domestic tournament.

Is that a big surprise? The ICC is a bunch of bureaucrats who have no clue how to make fast decisions.
