Australia

Not a great day from Australia, could have been, had the catches been taken during Siddle’s awesome spell in the afternoon, this could be all but over now.

South Africa

Probably owe Marcus North a beer, but Ab and Kallis did well to see the day out, sure the pitch is flat now, but the odd ball lept and crept still.

Can South Africa win?

They would probably have to lose no more than one wicket before tea, and Australia have the new ball, two of them if they are lucky. It looks like draw or win to Australia.

Play of the day

Brad Haddin dropped one that may, or may not, have been edged, but it was his desperate claw at the air that I found most humorous.

Testicular moment of the day

AB and Jacques played Australia into an uncomfortable position. Sure the pitch had settled down, Siddle was injured, and Johnson looked tired, but they batted a long long time, and theu have a big day ahead of them to do the same again.

Working class moment

Siddle was fast, he was on target, he troubled everyone he bowled too, and he did so with a foot injury that made his normal grimace look friendly.

It was worth North dropping Kallis to see the passion this man had on his face. His face told a story of the pain of the working class, the horror of striving hard for your dream, but being held back by forces greater than you can control.

With 300 to get from 90, I think it shouldn’t be a draw.
Results is possible, most likely but then again just now Kallis goes so… I think I know what the result would be!
    :D

This is possibly the worst sentence I have seen on this blog. When did you decide to try and write a romance novel?

As for the result: Draw is highly unlikely. I’d have to go for the Aus win. Unfortuneately.
