Not me, shame.

But Brett Geeves.

Douggie Bollinger has injured himself in a nasty incident involving Ricky Ponting’s bat cone.

He won’t be fit for the next match, and may not be for the last one.

So Brett Geeves is heading over.

His 6/47 against the Vics probably helped.

Your welcome Brett.

He has 37 wickets at 23 this season, and has been bowling pretty well.

Plus matching 99*s.

His selection ahead of Magoffin, Dorey and Nannes shows a change in selectorial bias.

The selectors are now looking towards the future more and more, and it seems, towards anyone who can roughly be called an allrounder.

Except Ashley Noffke, he is just ignored, you can kill yourself now Ashley.

Nathan Bracken just wishes he could bat.

And that someone in charge would trust him with a red ball.

Still on the McDonald theme, but obviously he’s the guy who is going to be replaced (hopefully by McGain who i would love to be bowling now) but why not select Hopes? I think he would be a far better (negative) selection at 8.

      McDonald out. Bryce In.

I take your Hopes, and raise him a Christian.

4 matches this year 22 wickets at 25, and is a batsman.

Bowls quick, hits hard, is 25, and a batting line up of Haddin, Christian, and Johnson at 7,8 & 9 could destroy teams.

However Hopes & Christian have not even sniffed a run at first class level this year, both averaging less than 20 this year, and Hopes 50, this match, was his first in 7 matches.

I’d never heard of Christian (try working out WTF he is with on google with a surname like that, i ended up on some very weird cricketing christian sites!)

Stats look good. If you have any tech info on him let us know.

But i’m all for selecting yoof however.

Don’t watch enough state cricket, i just read CWB and steal your ideas (and hope i don’t get locked away!).

No worries Jrod, i need my atheism reinforced from time to time.

Do they hand out baggy greens to all Tigers nowadays?

Boony is in charge of more than the esky now it would seem. Dan Christian?
If Bracken would get rid of that headband and sit down for a sip with Merv and Boony he might be a chance.
Nannes, if only he could play three or four games ( or even days) in a row.
    Good luck to the Butler.
And tell Bryce to wrap himself in cotton wool, organise some wake up calls, stay away from dodgy restaraunts, and wipe the top of the stubbies before he has a sip
