That is either a slight on the British Education system, or evidence that he’s a programmer.Programmers, from my years as an IT fuckface, have no common sense. They work within limited thresholds, and are lost outside of them.. I reckon this is where the Monty boy is.Intelligent, yet not smart.
Suave is right. From practical experience, i second what he said. I could see my ‘common sense’ improving after i quit my IT job.
I just think he’s the sort of logical bloke, who can do the same thing lots of times, but can’t step outside.I’ve worked with guys who were writing games that were worldwide smashes aged 13, yet couldn’t talk to women, or work a photo copier as adults.Basically, you need to think outside the box!
