They aren’t my words.
I would have said he was a dumb fuck.
But both sentiments are true.
Monty just cannot think.
He can spin the ball alot.
He can hit an ants dick at 22 yards.
And he goes all day long.
But what he doesn’t do is change with the situation.
When his normal line and length fail him, there is no other plan.
Even bowling machines can change line and length.
Monty just falls apart.
He has no creative bone in his body.
The Indians were brutal on him, and he just didn’t seem to know where to go.
People are already saying that if one spinner is required they would prefer the Swann from mars.
The selectors will pick 2 spinners, and even if they didn’t swann would be dropped.
Monty’s honeymoon ended a long time ago, and now it’s his time to keep the vultures off his back.
Or the swanns.
See what i did there.
Genius.
The boy has a degree in computer science. That is either a slight on the British Education system, or evidence that he’s a programmer.Programmers, from my years as an IT fuckface, have no common sense. They work within limited thresholds, and are lost outside of them.. I reckon this is where the Monty boy is.Intelligent, yet not smart.
Suave is right. From practical experience, i second what he said. I could see my ‘common sense’ improving after i quit my IT job.
I just think he’s the sort of logical bloke, who can do the same thing lots of times, but can’t step outside.I’ve worked with guys who were writing games that were worldwide smashes aged 13, yet couldn’t talk to women, or work a photo copier as adults.Basically, you need to think outside the box! Blue sky thinking!
He’s a twat. End of.Apologies for a somewhat less cerebral contribution but them’s my thoughts!
“Monty does not have an adaptive mind” may not be your words, but they are obviously the words of an amazingly brilliant wondrous person.
You are his muse, Mims!
Nothing wrong with software programmers being test bowlers. But you need clear and agile specifications of what to programme. And that’s the captain’s job.
wasn’t kumble a programmer or software engineer?
