China, hearsay? I hope you went to each and every one of the proper websites and told them how despicable they were to report on this as well, plus the hundreds of blogs that had it. This is a website that accepts people who disagree with our opinion, fancy that. Chris, good to see someone can like Ganguly and this site, and that it is not a mutually exclusive concept. Q, I would have got rid of more than one, but that is me.

AH jrod. Magic stuff again. Anything that gets people talking about the great game and the Tools that play it can only be a good thing. And let us not forget that Ganguly is one of the Prize Tools to ever play the game, certainly since the era of the professional/amatuer days of olde passed. The man “allegedly” always believed he was to good to mix with his lesser teammates and certainly not with any touring invaders. And who knows who is the leading TEST Player in India. How often do they play TEST cricket and who against. 600 games for India but how many actually meant anything.

Ganguly may or may not have made those comments but if there’s any truth to it he is definitely targeting the youth brigade in the ODI side and not at Sachin, Dravid, or Laxman. We all know wat he had to say about those 3 at the press conference in which he announced his retirement.As for being the sacrifical goat – all i know is that he is the leading Indian batsman in the last 2 year period in terms of runs in test cricket – so why is he a target?

That is the point JRod.A whole article, time and effort wasted, based on hear say.I could have argued more, but I do not see any point. Opinions differ.Opinions are never set in stone – they can only be as accurate as the information based upon. Opinions should be flexible to change. You have shut the door on the possibility that you may not have the full facts. That, for me is a big big disappointment. I leave you to entertain your guests who may find it a bother to try and find the truth for themselves.This is a popular blogsite alright, but not about ‘cricket’.

Chinaman, when i wrote this, i hadn’t seen him denying these words, and it was written on 7 different websites, so i jumped the gun after almost all the world’s press had, silly me. What success, the one series win at home when Australia hadn’t won in India in 30 years that i count as my favourite series of all time? Also, as much as i think Ranatunga was a bit of a cheat, i don’t hate him, neither do i hate Vaughan, and Stephen Fleming, the only other captain to draw a series at home In Australia this decade. And i was never a big steve waugh fan, so leaving him out in the sun never really got up my nose.But thanks for reading.
